I taught 1st/2nd grade for 20 years in a Detroit area public school before deciding to leave my classroom in 2015 to teach mindfuness. I have started my own outside provider business, Mindful Opportunities, LLC. I am now teaching mindfulness to all 2nd graders in the Novi Community School District, and leading mindfulness professional development in various districts in mid- and southeastern Michigan.
